2005 NBA Finals, Game 7 is No Surprise

By: Jason Cunningham (6/23/2005)

I know many who know me, would not put me in the category of Nostradamus. However before the 2005 NBA Finals began, I told the world there would be a Game 7. Tonight the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons both have one last shot at winning this year's NBA Title.

I will not change my mind about who will Game 7 and the series. Clearly the ball is in the San Antonio Spurs' court. This is their second chance to close out the series, and expect the Detroit Pistons to fold like a harmonica in the fourth quarter.  The Pistons have nothing to be ashamed of, unfortunately Spurs' Tim Duncan and crew will prove to be too much in Game 7.

That intensity that was missing from the eyes of Tim Duncan in Game 6 will be replaced by the hunger of a bear just woken from his hibernation.  Trust me when I say Game 7 will be a classic, and far from a blowout. I have the Spurs winning by five points.
