Follow your career passion

If you stand in a line of twenty people, you would stand
out. This is because you are unique, and
no one knows your qualities better than you.
What motivates you is likely different than the person who is standing
next to you! Choosing a career path is
difficult for some. Yet, if you are
passionate about your present career path, then stick with it, regardless of
the salary.
Money is not
everything
Do not become a money chaser. Some people choose a career based on its
earnings potential. Remember, everyone
is not cut out to be a lawyer or investment banker. Others are not meant to become teachers. If you desire happiness in the workplace, find
a career that you really enjoy. Think of
something you want to do 24 hours, per day.
Therefore, find the writer, police officer, or consultant in you.
When your job is a
burden, then you cannot produce your best work.
Having a career and having “a job”
are two different things. A person who
has a career finds joy in his or her work responsibilities. On the other hand, a person who has “a job” sometimes
becomes disgruntled and usually cannot wait until quitting time.
Conclusion
There is no substitute for following your career
passion. Money is not the “root of all
happiness.” However, you need to be in love with your
career path in order to make your life enjoyable. The
joys of life are not supposed to be limited to your personal life.
