While many people are disappointed with the economy, it is not impossible to earn a living. In fact, some people are thriving during this economic crisis. Therefore, the U.S. economy is strong enough that you can launch a small business, even as the Nation experiences economic turmoil. Otherwise, you will need to prove yourself in Corporate America as you rise through the ranks.
There is a famous poem named “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley. In the poem, Henley states, “I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.” The phrase calls for action and personal responsibility. In America, everyone has the opportunity to create a great business or work hard and be smart enough to earn an executive position. You can be the President of the U.S. or the owner of a small business with 50 employees. There is no such thing as “impossible.”
Greatness is often achieved by unknown individuals. Before co-founding Microsoft, how many people knew of Bill Gates? Prior this Presidential Election, a lot of people did not know that Senator Barack Obama was once the President of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. This is why you must follow your dreams because hard work and dedication pays off!
