Day 4 was lackluster. I focused on studying math rules instead of many practice problems. Math has become my obsession. I really do not want to sleep. I have so much to learn, especially in the area of math. However, I am trying to sleep at least 4 hours per night. A few days ago, I started to get ill, but I make no excuses. The GMAT will not care if I have the common cold or another illness on test day.
I thought Kaplan’s 2008 CD Premier Problem Solving Test 3 was tough. The test consisted of 16 questions, and I got 11 questions correct. I reviewed every question. Unfortunately, I made a few stupid errors. Otherwise, I did a decent job of problem solving. In addition, I also tried Manhattan GMAT’s Geometry Question Bank. The 25 question set beat me. I only got 10 questions right. I was a little disappointed. I already know Manhattan GMAT has a reputation of providing the “hardest questions on the planet,” but I need the tough math. I know graduate business school will be a quantatative experience; therefore, I do not mind doing tough math problems. It can only help me down the road!!!
