Day 9 was special. I woke up with extra spunk. Therefore, I thought it would be a good day to complete a practice exam. But, I needed to decide which GMAT practice test to take. In the end, I picked Kaplan’s GMAT Premier Program 2008 Book Test.
Before the end of the test, I started to get tired. Yet I was able to finish strong. In past GMAT practice tests, I had the tendency to cringe before seeing the next question. However, this time, I wanted the next question. I started to become confident in my ability, even if the question was difficult. Again, I expected to score at least 600. A GMAT practice score of 600 is the next confidence level that stands in my way.
Finally, I scored over 600 on a practice exam. In fact, I scored 620. My quantitative score could have been better. On this practice test, I really focused on slowing down on the verbal section. I did much better on the reading comprehension section; hopefully, this strategy will continue to work on upcoming practice tests. I am definitely aiming for at least a 700 GMAT score.
