On Day Six, I experienced a reality check. I took Practice Test Two GMATPrep. I was hoping to score about 600. Unfortunately, my score was dramatically lower than my expectations. I only scored 550.
I reviewed every question. In the Quantitative Section, I struggled with advanced Geometry questions. Ouch! I also need to study algebraic functions. I missed two questions involving functions. Unfortunately, my Achilles heel is still reading comprehension. Otherwise, I would have scored much higher. In the upcoming week, I will be paying greater attention to reading comprehension and algebraic functions.
Despite the low score, I feel confident that I have a better grasp of the material. In addition, I am not worried about running out of time on either section. I just need to become a better problem solver. Honestly, I have the ability to do well, but many more hours of studying are required for me to reach my GMAT goal.
