Bernard Hopkins vs. Jermain
Taylor Boxing Preview
by: Jason Cunningham (7/16/2005)
Tonight is the night, when the boxing gods entertain
us with the most hyped fight since Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield. Bernard
Hopkins has had twenty successful title defenses. He will get in the ring with
2000 Olympics Bronze Medalist, who is undefeated as a pro boxer, Jermain Taylor
(23 wins - 0 losses).
Bernard Hopkins aka " The Executioner" will have his
hands full this evening. Senior Financial Shopper Network Sports Correspondent,
Markeith Reed stated, "Taylor's activity will prove to be too much for Hopkins."
I could not disagree more. Hopkins is the People's Champion for a good reason.
Maybe in a year or two, I will give the edge to Jermain Taylor. Believe me, when
I say, Taylor is a great boxing talent, but nobody in the world is ready for
hands of stones that belong to Bernard Hopkins.
Jason Cunningham Prediction: Hopkins wins by KO in the 9th
round.
