Can't Tell the Packers are the NFC's Best!
Article by: Jason Cunningham (12/07/2004)
Coming into Sunday's match up versus the
Philadelphia Eagles, the Green Bay Packers had won six games in a row.
There were individuals who get paid at least 100,000 a year, so-called experts,
that claimed the Packers as kings of the NFC.
The Eagles scored the first thirty-five points of
the contest, on route to a 47-17 win. Call it what you want, slaughter, beat
down, or massacre, those who believed in the Packers might as well start waiving
Philadelphia Eagles' banners. I understand why people always wish that QB Brett
Farve never loses, yet the Eagles now have Terrell Owens, a more mature QB
Donovan McNabb, and defense similar to the 1985 Chicago Bears.
Believe me, I love the Green Bay
Packers too, but they are not getting past the Eagles in the playoffs. I said it
from the beginning of the year, the Eagles will see the Superbowl. If you think
I might be fibbing, then read my 2004 NFL
Preview.
