The Cavs Get Embarrassed by
the Pacers
By: Jason Cunningham (11/25/2005)
Yes, yesterday I predicted that Lebron
James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers would walk through the
Indianapolis Pacers, and win their ninth game in a row. I was wrong. The Cavs
lost 98-76.
I hate being wrong about anything, but
it hurt my heart to watch the game last night. It was Thanksgiving and the Cavs
and Pacers were the NBA's first of two games. This was supposed to be a good
game, and yes I wanted my home team, the Cavs to win, in spite of me living in
the Indianapolis area. I will always be loyal to Cleveland, what can I say!
Even the play of Cavs' superstar Lebron
James looked human throughout the game. At times he and the rest of the
Cavaliers could not buy a shot. They scored just thirty points in the first
half. One thing is for sure, the Indianapolis Pacers invited the Cavaliers to
town, and gave them one good beating. It was an embarrassment even if you do not
love the Cavs as much as I do. They did not average scoring 20 points a quarter!
