The Chiefs vs. Dolphins Game
is Moved
By: Jason Cunningham (10/21/2005)
The Kansas City Chiefs will be
traveling today to play the Miami Dolphins. The game will have a 6:00 pm (Est.)
start, but will not be televised to a national audience. This change in schedule
was a safety precaution in light of Hurricane likely hitting the area this
Sunday.
Regardless of when the teams would have
met, the result should not be in doubt. The Kansas City Chiefs have a much
better team. I can safely predict Chiefs' RB Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson
will be running wild. Let's be honest, the Dolphins have a good coach in Nick
Saban, but overall they are not a good team.
The important thing is that the league
recognized the safety concern by rescheduling the game. Also by not canceling
the game, the teams are not really prejudiced, otherwise they would have to
squeeze the game in at a later date, in the NFL season.
