Do You Have the
Valentine's Day Blues?
By Jason Cunningham (2/14/06)
This is a miserable day in
the life of someone you might know. Valentine's Day can be an emotional
experience for those who have lost a loved one due to death or separation. Thank
goodness the day only lasts 24 hours.
People look around and what
do see today? Individuals are buying last minute gifts or presenting jewelry or
flowers to their loved ones. Valentine's Day is dedicated to being the day of
love. Look at all the money that is spent.
If you have no one this day,
do not get depressed. It is just a commercial holiday. Often people reflect on
this day, because they are used to celebrating this day. Remember hope is on its
way, however you must exhibit patience. Gifts are nice, but sometimes they come
with baggage. Life is hard, and it is unfortunate that a day such a Valentine's
Day gets so much air time. Unless you really had someone worth loving,
then nothing less than a smile should be on your face.
Valentine's Day only lasts 24
hours. The economy does not mind if you spend every dime. Be thankful that are
alive today, and do not fret if you got no gift. You will eventually find the
right person in due time.
