The Lesson: Education Costs
John: Let us turn our attention to the cost of education. We
have illustrated the necessity of the need of philosophy and personal finances
classes throughout the years of required learning. How do we attempt to pay for
these measures in lights of finding qualified teachers, and paying for proper
materials?
Jason: The universities have plenty of potentially, qualified
teachers. The government should reduce the salaries of the administration that
earn more than seven times than the lowest paid teacher. In many instances, this
will either allow you to provide two to three more teachers, or hire someone who
may be an expert in the field.
John: Still we must compare what is needed for each student to
excel. For instance if it costs on average, $2500 a year to educate a child in a
classroom who is a straight A student then it should be reasonable that this
occurs across the board.
Jason: But what if the child has additional needs, maybe Braille
or a special ramp, we will accommodate these students as well? It is our duty to
educate all. Also, we must take the economics of the areas under consideration,
places like Tokyo or NY City are very expensive in comparison to Cleveland.
John: Yes my son. Of course all material necessary to maintain
the safety and educational development of our children will granted. What is
important to maintain that education grants will be evenly distributed by the
government based on need and not based on performance:
Jason: What if a school system is producing tremendous workers
who contribute heavily to our taxes? Should we not invest in our future leaders
and reward success?
John: We should reward the teachers for their performance and
pump money into worthy grants submitted by these schools. However it is only
fair to hear any grant proposal.
Jason: So it is clear that we believe that education funds
should never be reduced based on the performance, below the Republic's average,
teachers should be rewarded for excellence, and education grants are available
for achievement or worthy proposals.
John: That is it. All points were well said.
