The Indianapolis Pacers Need to Trade Ron Artest!

By: Jason Cunningham (12/26/2005)

Indianapolis Pacer's Ron Artest has not played in a NBA game since December 6. At the time, Ron Artest was demanding his current team to trade him. It appeared the Pacers' organization seemed committed to getting him out of town; however, to this very day, Ron Artest remains on the inactive list.

The league needs to step in at this point to make sure the Pacers are actively trying to trade him. They should not allow him to sit on the inactive list for the entire season. Artest has always had emotional problem throughout his NBA career, but the Pacers must not be able to prevent him from working elsewhere, when they have made it clear his services are no longer wanted.

It is an unfortunate situation in the Indianapolis Pacers' locker room. Artest has alienated himself from his teammates because of his actions both on and off the basketball court. At this point, the best thing for both parties would be the finalize of a trade to another team. Hopefully, Artest can be traded very soon, and get the Pacers some more good players or cash in exchange for him.
