policy is practically similar to other health plans, you already may know.
These policies can insure people against the cost of hospitalization and
transplants, offers maternity after 12 months of continual coverage, and many
other services covered under normal health policies. An International Health
Insurance policy should be bought when your current health plan will not cover
you. However you may have to
wait up to 24 months before some pre-existing conditions are covered under a
international health insurance policy. Also you will also have to satisfy your
deductible and pay your co-insurance as you require treatment.
When you require treatment or service from a
doctor or surgeon, that person will be paid what is Usual, Reasonable, and
Customary for that area of the world. Always call your international health
insurance provider before any services are rendered unless the situation is life
threatening. Remember if you are traveling to foreign lands your current health
insurance provider may not provide coverage.
International Health Insurance provides offers
medical coverage throughout the world. Your doctor or hospital bill will be paid
based on the cost of services in the area in which you seek treatment.
