Internet Insurance Marketing
By: Jason Cunningham (10-25-05)
Congratulations you are an insurance
agent with a pretty website. There are more challenges that still need to be
addressed. You must be willing to devote many hours of planning and
strategy in order to achieve desired results.
As a member of the internet community,
it is your mission to offer your products and services as a benefit to online
customers. However there is fierce competition from other insurance agents with
web sites as well as writers who just write articles for a living. It is
important to look at the internet as one huge dictionary. People use the world
wide web to search for certain particular information. Therefore you must write
web pages that reflect the usage of those who are prospective internet
insurance shoppers.
Remember the internet is just one piece
of the puzzle that can help improve your business. Online insurance agent
generally choose insurance products that allow a turn-key operation. This allows
people to buy from you even when you are sleep. Also, the internet is a way of
getting your name out beyond your community. As you build your site on a daily
basis, more and more people will come to your web page and ask questions about
your insurance products. Your response will determine whether they become
a client or remain a person just seeking information. Unlike cold call or client
meetings, you can work on marketing your insurance web site even at 3 am. Good
selling to all!!!
