Jason: Eating is always a good time for me.
John: How so? And then we can get back to the discussion.
Jason: Well it is purely a peaceful experience. It is one of the
few times where the focus is not on problems. It is because I am to focused on my
food.
John: Since you have exalted your lusty greed for eating, let us
speak of self sacrifice. I will go first. The goal of any moral society should
make its foundation consist of those you embrace self sacrifice.
Jason: People obviously expect us to talk about the military, in
regards to sacrifice. Yet let us speak about those who get little or no credit.
For instance those who volunteer their time to teach the future about morals and
explain school work. These people sacrifice time and energy for no pay. Their
impact on the economy and greater good may have to be measured later, but still
it is appreciated.
John: A Moral Society should call all to be responsive to
the needs of others, otherwise this society could fall upon the sword of its own
greed. Everyone wants to live in a prosperous land, however we should never
exploit others to make our numbers better. Tired bodies who cannot eat
sufficiently do not make for good workers. I made you volunteer in your youth in
order for you to see and hopefully understand the needs of others.
Jason: Great leaders must motivate others to promote self
sacrifice as a moral agenda. It is true self sacrifice is most evident when the
person volunteering truly understands the needs of person being helped. This is
part of the legacy of hope that hopefully helps transcend this society in the
positive direction of God.
John: Our land is made whole due to the great self sacrifices of
our people.
