The Patriots are on a Roll into the NFL
Playoffs
By: Jason Cunningham (12/27/2005)
Everybody wants to believe the
defending Superbowl Champions, the New England Patriots are finished. Not so
fast, the Patriots have won four straight games and clinched a NFL playoff berth
by winning the AFC East. The master coach, Bill Belichick is quietly ready
to defend their crown.
When the Indianapolis Colts humiliated
the Patriots on 11-7-05, it did not seem possible with a 4-4 record that New
England would qualify for this year's playoffs. The Patriots were rejuvenated by
the return of LB Ted Teddy Bruschi, who returned from a stroke suffered after
last season's Pro Bowl Game. You just cannot count this team out. While the
Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts may have the flash, the New England
Patriots have won 3 of the last 4 Superbowls because they are very good in
the NFL Playoffs.
Look out for the Patriots, they are
coming to cause havoc in the playoffs. The results will speak for themselves.
The AFC Playoffs will provide much excitement. Do not be surprised if they the
Patriots make it to the AFC Championship game. We are less than a month away
from finding out the truth.
