Pistons Fans can forget about
the NBA Championship
By: Jason Cunningham (7/20/2005)
The happy times for the Detroit Pistons have appeared to
end. It is a certainty that Larry Brown, who has coached them to two straight
NBA Finals, including the 2003-2004 NBA Championship, is now headed out of the
door. It is a shocking revelation to Pistons, who had heard the rumors, but
thought they were just stories of untruths.
The reality is now dealing with life without Larry Brown.
Who over the last two years has been just as much of Auburn Hills and Detroit as
native rapper, Eminem. It is just sad to see a team that appeared ready to
become a dynasty, has lost the captain of their ship. We can look to other team
around the league to represent the East in the NBA Basketball Finals, because it
will definitely not the Detroit Pistons.
