The Pistons Stomp the Spurs in Game 4

By: Jason Cunningham (6/17/2005)

I admit after watching game four of the NBA Finals, I had nothing to say. Generally I call my dad at the end of each game just to get his take on the result.  However after watching the San Antonio Spurs lose 102-71 to the Detroit Pistons, I decided not to make that phone call.

I predicted the Spurs would win game four, but I was dead wrong. The Detroit Pistons played the perfect game; if such a thing actually exists. It was as if the Spurs were at the mercy of the Piston's 31 point victory. If Detroit wanted to win by 50 points in Game Four, it could have been accomplished.

Somebody should have sent me a crow sandwich for all the smack I talked on behalf of the Spurs before Game Four. I deserve it after my prediction. Honestly, I thought the Spurs did not compete past the middle of the third quarter. Well Detroit really deserved to win Game Four.
