Building a Moral Society
The Lesson: Preparation
John: Remember all must be prepared to contribute to
the Moral Society.
Jason: How can a baby contribute to our construct?
John: Even a baby must learn their is more to life than itself.
By their very nature, babies lack tolerance and are often selfish. Through
careful preparation and learning, these babies who now babble will sit in our
Senate.
Jason: What preparation is needed for us to attain this purpose?
John: Careful, my example was not meant to suggest that the goal
is to become a member of the Senate or the President. From the mail carrier to
the school teacher, we are all called to promote the virtue of this society.
Through paying taxes and helping others, many of our inherited problems can be
minimized to a tolerable rate.
Jason: We do need tax money to run the city. I clearly would not
be able to hold an intellectual debate, had no one showed me its finer points. A
society that does not share information in an educational format lacks
continuity. There are several sources of learning: books, TV, spoken word, the
internet and an actual classroom setting.
John: Sharing, yes this is in order. If a few have knowledge and
the rest are solely depended on the government, the nation will never reach its
maturation. All must be empowered with the educational preparation to successful
succeed within these state's walls.
Jason: I agree, yet it must be noted that some things must be
kept in confidence for the sake of the protection of the Republic.
John: I am not sure where you going with this one?
Jason: There has to be some secrecy as not to cause panic. It
appears that causing civil unrest is also not good for a nation attempting to
define itself and purpose.
John: I can concede to much of what was just said, however there
is a limit. If one keeps secrets not to protect, but to keep the people as
puppets in their plot, then that is wrong.
