Reggie Miller Saves the Pacers
By Jason Cunningham (4/26/2005)
The Indianapolis Pacers showed up in Boston for game
two of their best of seven series after being embarrassed in game one. Reggie
Miller of the Pacers put his team on his shoulders as he scored 28 points and
the nail in the coffin with 37 seconds left in regulation. The 82-79 victory for
the Pacers extends the illustrious career of Miller who will retire at the end
of this NBA season.
If the Pacers had lost last night, then Boston probably ended
the series in Indianapolis. However the series is tied, so do not think Reggie
Miller and the rest of the Pacers cannot come back, and get two more wins to
advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
