Minnesota Vikings' Mike Tice
Days are Numbered
By: Jason Cunningham (10/20/2005)
This was supposed to be the year of the
Minnesota Vikings? They shipped out the problem child, better known as WR Randy
Moss, the same man who is almost a certain lock for the Hall of Fame. However
without the Moss man on the field, the team is looking a bit tired, and forget
the wins, it is their off-field activities that are grabbing the sport
headlines.
How bad are the 2005 Minnesota Vikings?
The team has one win this season, and it came at the expense of the NFL
displaced road team, the New Orleans Saints. You have to be kidding me that the
organization wants us to believe that now Oakland Raiders Randy Moss was the
cause of their internal problems that prevented them from making the Super Bowl
in recent years.
Coach Mike Tice has lost control of the
Vikings. Their 1-4 record could have been 0-5 if they played anyone but the
Saints. In the offseason, Tice attempted to sell his Super Bowl tickets for a
profit. This made national news, and was the sort of embarrassment that the
Vikings wished had been done by their former goat, Randy Moss. Also, where is QB
Daunte Culpepper's patent arm shuffle, oh it is probably packing to be in
Oakland!
Tice's bunch has been making more
points entertaining themselves on their off days, and being in the news than on
the football field. It is time for Tice to start his own packing. He will not be
back with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006.
