When to Let Her Go!

By: Jason Cunningham (10/22/2005)

Sometimes you have to know she is not the "one." As a guy this may be grueling decision, since the majority of our sex would not care. Now if she is costing a lot money, then the rest of you will probably buckle.

If you have nothing positive to talk about with your girlfriend, then the ship at sea may need to be docked.  Why waste her time and let the relationship last three or four years when you never plan on marrying the woman! It makes logical sense to let her go, but that emotional attachment still exists. Always try to do right by her, because it may be the wrong time and place.

It is a sad or happy event when you leave a dating relationship. Your emotional response will be determined by your reasons to end this love affair. Whatever the reason, you should attempt to follow a logical analysis, in order to minimize the possible hurt and pain you may cause your girlfriend.

I understand that break ups are hard for me. Remember this the gender that I uphold. Yet be a good man about ending your romance with lovely woman. There is no need to belittle or offer words of discouragement. Make sure to be respectful to the woman when you see her in the future.
