Who the Cleveland Browns Should Draft at Pick #3!

By Jason Cunningham (4/20/05)

My beloved Cleveland Browns have the third pick in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. They have many needs both on the defensive and offensive sides of the ball. A Brown's new coach in Romeo Crennel must rebuilt this team and starts with the first round pick.

I have looked deep into my heart, and tried to offer a suggestion for that number 3 pick for the Cleveland Browns. The great teacher of the NFL Draft, Mel Kiper has Michigan's WR Braylon Edwards rated as being the third best prospect in the draft.  Cal's QB Aaron Rodgers should be available when the Browns go to the podium, but the person they should select did not play college football last season. USC's WR Mike Williams is a gem at the three spot, and has the most upside of any offensive player outside of the QB position.

Williams can immediately upgrade the Cleveland passing game which looked like a predictable play over and over, just to say you have a commitment to the passing game. Throughout the week we will continue to look at any new developments in the NFL Draft. Go Browns beat the Steelers.
