Whose Your Daddy Now!

Pedro Martinez of the Boston Red Sox can rest easy now. He
has won his first World Series, and the jeers of New York Yankees fans saying,
"whose your daddy" seems like a distant event. After the Red Sox lost game three
of the American League Championship, it appeared certain that the "whose your
daddy" chant would resurface as the Yankees finished winning the series over
Pedro's Red Sox. However this was not to be the destiny of the Yankees.
In game seven of the series, Pedro pitched an inning. After
giving up a couple of runs he settled down and it was lights out. Behind the
cocky persona that Pedro Martinez displays is one great pitcher. Once
again the chant of "whose your daddy" faded in the New York skyline. Nobody also
expected the Red Sox to then go and sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in the World
Series but it happened.
