Easter Sunday is fast approaching. While the Christian community will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ next Sunday, there are only a handful of people who know why Easter falls on a particular Sunday. Believe me, it is a shocker if you do not already know this seemingly important fact.

Most people in Church have no idea what determines when Easter occurs each year. They just are aware of the beginning and ending of Lent. In actuality, the moon determines when Easter Sunday occurs. I am not kidding. Easter Sunday fall on the first Sunday after the full moon, following the Spring Equinox.
