Why I'm Not Excited About the 2006 MLB Season!

 Today marks the start of the 2006 Major League Baseball season. I am not very excited, because the top story of Spring Training began and ended with Giants slugger, Barry Bonds.

 My beloved Cleveland Indians play the World Champions, Chicago White Sox in the first game of the season. Since I am from East Cleveland, Ohio, you probably assume that I cannot wait. At the present time, I am little turned off to Major League baseball. The whole Spring Training was focused on one man, Barry Bonds and allegations of his past steroid use.

 Yes, Bonds is an important icon, but baseball needs to focus on something else. However, I already know that baseball will be on my TV, regardless of my criticism.
