My jubilation turned into sadness by the end of third episode of The Chappelle's Show - Lost Episodes. I understand now why Dave Chappelle vanished to Africa. The upcoming third season of the show was not going well.

It has been said that "all good things must come to an end." The release of The Chappelle's Show - Lost Episodes on DVD put a fork in the show's life. If Comedy Central ever wanted Dave Chappelle to come back to the network, the release of this DVD and these episodes did not help the cause. I see why Chappelle saw some of the sketches including the "black face" as questionable. It is sad that this comical genius' concerns seemed to be ignored or disregarded.

I do not know how Comedy Central expects to sell a lot of copies. After the first episode, you do not hear anyone talking positively about the show. Oh well, they will get the message through their slump in sales. These episodes are not a fair representation of Dave Chappelle's comical abilities.
