Why Sports Holdouts Make No
Sense!

I believe in the individual pursuit of capitalism.
Sports holdouts are not very common, however they occur from time to time.
Athletes generally make their fans and organization upset when they decide not
to show up.
Imagine you decided to stop showing up to work, unless your pay raise
demands are met. I am sure are a very good worker, however most of us would end
fired and replaced soon afterwards. Some athletes may not be aware they cannot
get away with this type of action in other professions. Holdouts do not give the
public something to feel good about, in regards to sports.
Go to work, and try to work the situation out, in a
professional manner. If you are an athlete, and the boss decided not to cut you
a check this week, you would be mad. Therefore when you decide to holdout for
more money, then your boss is mad. I would to end this article on a high note.
Three NFL All-Pro players, Colts Edgerrin James, Seahawks Shaun Alexander, and
Eagles Terrell Owens all are reporting and have reported to training camp. All
are in contract disputes, but they showed up for work!
