Why Toni Braxton Should
Star as the Next Black Vampire?
By: Jason Cunningham (7-16-2005)
It has been ten years, since there has been a true black
vampire movie, Vampire in Brooklyn starring Eddie
Murphy and Angela Bassett. Sorry, Wesley Snipes, but in my
opinion, the Blade Movie series was not a black or African
American movie.
It is time for a black vampire movie to emerge, and one
that exceeds 1970's classics series of Blackula. There is
one person who comes to mind that should star as the next black vampire. That individual should be singer,
Toni Braxton. Yes, I am stating on the record that she
should get the role over Halle Berry or my favorite actress,
Gabrielle Union. Yet if all three agree to be in the movie,
then you get no argument from me.
Toni Braxton could sing in the movie, which
automatically gets me to the movie theater. I also have
faith in her acting ability. Braxton held her own in the
movies Kingdom Come and Play'd. Seeing her
video Please, put the idea in my head,
that when the role for a black vampire comes to the
forefront, she needs to be the first choice. They
probably could use the same cape from the video. When it
happens, make sure you see the movie starring Toni Braxton,
and say you heard it here first.
