James Woods Story
The Online Movie Script by: Jason Barlow Cunningham
Woods makes it down to the hallway where Doctor Carlton Murphy is waiting for him. He knocks with apprehension, but does it in a manner as to be heard. However like a kid, James hits the thirteen number on the door.
Dr. Murphy: Come in I'm expecting you James. (He enters through the doors (Woods)
James Woods: Hello Dr. Murphy I presume. (He extends his hand to shake and it is reciprocated) Let us get down to business. I have a full case load of work to do today.
Dr. Murphy: Ok. Have you had any illness? The flu, dry mouth, rashes, changes in bowel movements or night sweats. Are you also taking any medications of any sort whether for pain or by prescription.
James Woods: None of the above. I haven't had a cold in about year. You can do your worst.
Dr: Murphy: Don't worry we are going to test you for everything in the book and give a EKG. This must be a lot of coverage, otherwise they would order these many exams. You must be a great employee.
James Woods: I guess so. I've been here five years and I have no complaints:
Dr Murphy: Roll your arm sleeve up so I can get a reading. ( Woods obliges the doctor) 120/70 that's not bad, time for the scale (He gets on the scale) 247 lbs, and your height is 6'0". There are no doubts you are a big guy.
(More tests continue for blood profile, sexually transmitted diseases, hernia, urine, EKG, and so. The exam actually last three hours. Woods feels tired as if life is becoming blurry before his very eyes. After all of the test are completed he thanks Dr. Murphy)
Dr: Murphy: You have had a hard day already, I okayed that you have the rest of the day off, signed off by Mr. Smith provided that you eat the meal provided in the down stair dinner center.
James Woods: Ok. Thanks Dr. Murphy (and proceeds to shake his hand again) As he walks out of the room he stares at the door and then gently brushes his eyes away.
(Woods walks down to the cafeteria to see what they have prepared for his. His eyes are glazed over by the bread, steak, and mashed potatoes prepared for him. There are actual servers to serve him. He dines for about an hour and leaves.
